This criterium will be a one-of-a-kind race through the downtown area of Pittsburgh. Riders will learn why Pittsburgh is often called “The City of Bridges,” as they will be racing a closed, 0.8 mile loop over the Roberto Clemente and Andy Warhol bridges. The start/finish will be located next to PNC Park, across the Allegheny River from downtown. Be ready for a sprint finish with a beautiful backdrop of the waterfront and downtown skyline. Steel City Showdown Tailgate:
will be located just off course featuring bike shops, vendors, non-profits, etc to celebrate cycling and showcase their wares. The tailgate promotes a festival-like atmosphere making the entire event fun for the whole family. Have your Team or Business contact us today to purchase a tailgate space!
on Bikereg.com for only $30. Race day registration will be $40 and will open at 7:00 AM. A current USA Cycling annual racing license or USA Cycling one-day racing license is required for all riders to participate. Annual license members will be required to show their license at registration. If you do not hold a USA Cycling Racing license, One-day Licenses can be purchased at the event for $10. Note that one-day license holders must select the lowest category.

Pre-Registration Discount - On or before May 5, $30
Day of Race Registration $40 (Juniors $30)
Registration for 2nd event, by same racer $15
One-Day License (for non-USAC license holders) $10 extra
Race day registration opens at 7:00 AM.
Race runs rain or shine. All USAC rules apply. Riders must wear helmets at all times. Littering on the course is prohibited. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or combine fields in accordance with race day attendance and conditions. This event reserves the right to change without prior notice.
The use of junior gears, per USAC rules, is required by any and all riders under the age of 19 for this event. Please make sure your bike will pass gear inspection before your race start. Failure to report to the officials for gear inspection will result in a disqualification.
Cash awards for Men's Cat 1/2/3, Men's Cat 3/4, Women's Cat 1/2/3, Men's 45+ and Men's 55+ and Women’s Cat 3/4. Merchandise prizes for Men's Cat 5, Men's Cat 4/5 and juniors classes.

Prizes will be distributed at registration/awards area within 1 hour of race results being posted. All prizes not claimed at the race are forfeit. ~ Both Women’s Cat 1/2/3 and Men’s Cat 1/2/3 Awards will take place following the last race of the day at 5:00 PM!
