The Rocktown Rambler is a celebration of riding backcountry roads in the Shenandoah Valley. There will be gravel, some climbing, some descending, some singletrack, and a lot of fun! We welcome everyone that wants to have a good time - whether that is by racing, riding, or partying (or doing all three at once)!

Rambler Schedule

Packet
Pickup

Packet pickup and day-of registration ($120 CASH ONLY) will take place at Bryce Resort from 8am-9:30am on Race Day.
Please have your ID with you for packet pickup. You will also be given some SWAG and a meal ticket for post-ride food.

RACE,
RIDE,
Party!

The Rambler will start at 10am for both distances. We will have a neutral roll-out from the resort, and police officers to direct traffic while the event is taking place. Please follow the course markings to stay on course, do not cross the double yellow lines, pay attention to CAUTION & TURNING signs, and ride within your means. Our goal is for everyone to have a fun and safe day!

We will have an aid station about halfway through the course with water, snacks, and mechanical help if necessary.

Hangout
With
Friends!

Once you have finished the Rambler, enjoy the post race party friends, food, and good times!

Each Rambler category will have a podium after the ride!

Podiums for every category will commence once all of the times needed have come in.

Be sure to Download the route to your Wahoo / GARMIN / GPS Computers

The Rocktown Rambler is comprised of 2 routes, 25 miles or 50 miles, respectively. Whichever adventure you choose for the day, you’re guaranteed a great time on your bike! Beautiful scenery, a Party Station, and awesome roads will keep you smiling! Over 70% of the course is gravel/dirt, so the minimum tire width recommendation is 32c. 35-38c wide tires will most likely be your optimal choice for the Rambler. You are welcome to test your limits on a road bike with smaller tires, but we would like to caution you to be extra safe on course if you choose to do so. Sturdy road, gravel, or mountain bike - pick what you'd like to ride and have a good (and safe) time!

Download the 25 or 50 mile route by clicking “Rocktown Rambler” on the widgets from Ride with GPS below.
