Some important registration Info….
- General Registration will open February 12 at 7:00 PM for all categories.
- If you are an ten year participant (you have raced all ten previous LBD), you have the option of a guaranteed in, but you MUST let us know and submit payment before Feb 1. You will be able to pay via Paypal to info@gotimeracing.com and we will then add you to the confirmed riders list. If we have not heard from you prior to Feb 1 this option will no longer be valid and you will need to register during open registration.
To celebrate EARTH DAY, we are inviting donations to support the U.S. National Park Service. You will see this option when you register, you may donate any amount you wish. You may also make donations on site at the race. Thank you for supporting our National Parks!! Find a park to explore... https://www.nps.gov/index.htm
- For those of you interested in supporting Adventures For the Cure, we will be donating 15 spots to this very worthwhile charity. AFC focuses on helping children with diabetes through the Extreme Weekend For Children With Diabetes Camp as well as Kupenda for the Children, an organization that helps children with disabilities in Kenya. AFC will be auctioning these spots separately and your tax deductible donation will be paid directly to AFC, who will then communicate to us the necessary registration info.
- We will NOT be keeping a waitlist this year.
- See below for UPDATES on categories.
- Racers are permitted to transfer/sell your spot, but will be assessed $15.00 fee. THIS FEE WILL ALSO BE ASSESSED FOR RACERS MAKING TEAM NAME CHANGES, RACER NAME CHANGES, AS WELL AS CATEGORY CHANGES. While you are free to register yourself and your teammates, we recommend registering your teammates using their correct information in order to avoid this fee. Captains - Please have your full team information ready when registering.
Start Time: We will again be starting at 9:00 am this year. This should allow us to have racers off course by 11:00pm or so. One of our main goals is to provide a fun and inclusive atmosphere, and this includes the post race festivities. We love having the Bluegrass and Bonfires, and want to have more time to hang out with you, the racers, after the "serious" stuff is done with. We feel this earlier start time will allow this and provide more opportunity for camaraderie and to hear your stories from the days events.
UPDATED Geezer Category definitions: In order to qualify for these categories, a 2 Person Male Geezer team MUST have a combined age of at least 90 years, and a 3 Person Male Geezer team MUST have a combined age of 135 years. Birthdays will be requested during the registration process and will be checked at registration/packet pickup. Yes, we have raised the age for Geezers!!
COED Category definitions: These categories are designated Coed Teams and must consist of at least 1 female, but can include all female teams as well. Any teams registered in these categories that consist of all males will be transferred to the corresponding Male categories.
We have expanded the category options this year, but we will combine categories with less than five racers or teams registered as of April 8. We don't want anyone to feel lonely on the results pages!
