Brownstown Road Race

Brownstown is in Lancaster County, PA.  The course is a 5.0-mile/8.0-km circuit
in the style of a European kermesse with rolling hills on country roads.  Centerline
rule and junior (U19/U17) gear restrictions will apply.

*Men 4 & 5, Men 4 & 5 (40+), Women 3 & 4, and Masters 45+/55+/65+ prizes are
half cash and half merchandise; there are NOT additional prizes for Masters 65+
however, there will be both combined and separate 55+ and 65+ results provided.
Separate results will be provided for the Women 4.  Cash prizes for the Men 2 & 3/
Masters 35+ race will be as listed with 25 riders or more or 50% of gate receipts for
this race, whichever is less (places may be reduced proportionately); there are NOT
additional prizes for Masters 35+ however, there will be both combined Men 2 & 3/
Masters 35+ and separate 35+ results provided. **U19 Men and Women participate
in prizes for the senior category of the combined field they race with.

All races require a minimum field of 20 participants at the close of early registration
on Sunday, June 18 or they may be canceled at the promoter’s discretion; U19/U17
races are subject to senior category minimum field requirement.  Races with the
same start times race together, these are combined fields.  With approval of the
chief referee on race day, larger (i.e. when both have greater than 20 riders each)
fields of category Masters 45+/55+/65+ will be split with a one minute separation
into 45+ and 55+/65+.

NO DAY-OF-RACE REGISTRATION. PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY.
Entry fees are discounted by $10 for early registrations (applied at checkout) until
Sunday, June 18 at 11:00 PM.  USA Cycling insurance surcharge of $3.75 is included
in the entry fee.  Sign-in opens at 7:30 AM and closes 15 minutes prior to the start
of each race.  All cyclists must present a valid license and sign an event release
form (minors must have a parent or legal guardian sign).  If the event or an
individual race is canceled you will get a refund, less online transaction charges,
or you may have your entry transferred to our next event.  One-day and annual
USA Cycling licenses will be available for purchase ($10/$70) at the sign-in table.

Directions: From the intersection of Rte. 222 and Rte. 772 in Brownstown, go east
on Rte. 772 for 2.4 miles to Peace Rd. (turn left), go to N. Maple Ave.  Park on
Peace Rd.  Use the address: 390 Peace Rd., Leola, PA 17540 for GPS mapping.
