Join us for the first ever DCXC RACE by DCMTB

Rosaryville State Park - June 16, 2018.

The mountain bike team that created the mid-Atlantic's biggest and best cyclocross race, DCCX, now presents a mountain bike race. DCXC is being held on the smooth, flowing trails of Rosaryville State Park on June 16, offering beginners a great chance to try racing for the first time - and experts the chance to rock their way through the trees at warp speed. This will be a race with an emphasis on the fun and camaraderie - and one that's sure to grow and become a staple in the Washington area. It's being held the day before Father's Day, so bring the family. They'll enjoy the trails and open fields of the park -- and can also compete in the parent-child fun ride at the end of the day.

DCXC General Information:

 ALL ENTRY FEES INCLUDE A TICKET FOR A FOOD AND DRINK.

NO CASH TRANSACTIONS ARE ALLOWED IN PARK, so we will not have day of race registration.  However, we have extended pre-registation until 5pm on Friday 6/15 the day before the race.

All participants are required to sign a waiver before competing in this event.

Start times are staggered with beginner classes starting at 9am.

Helmets required for all participants

Course: Each lap is roughly 8.5 miles - one loop around park - and consists of of a main loop of smooth, nicely flowing singletrack with plenty of banked turns. There is an inner loop trail that is geared toward the technical rider with a handful of interesting skinnies and jumps.  Final course subject to changes prior to event.

Park opens at sunrise.

No amplified speakers or loud music.

Rain date is 6/23/18. No Refunds.

The Venue: DXCX is held at Rosaryville State Park near Clinton, Maryland.

Directions:Park is roughly 20 minutes from Pennsylvania Ave/MD 4 Exit.

From the Beltway South/495, exit MD4 South. Turn Right on Dower House Rd. Right on Woodyward Rd/223. Left on Rosaryville Rd. Turn left at park entrance. 7805 W Marlton Ave, Clinton, MD 20735

Event Parking: PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A $3 ($5 out of state) ENTRY FEE INTO ROSARYVILLE STATE PARK USING THE HONOR SYSTEM - PLEASE BE GOOD BIKERS AND PAY YOUR FEE SO WE CAN KEEP THIS RACE GOING. THIS FEE IS NOT INCLUDED IN REGISTRATION FEE. PLEASE OBSERVE ALL SPEEDS LIMITS AND PARK ONLY IN DESIGNATED PARKING AREAS.
